Clearlogin January Feature Release

January 14th, 2015 by Ed Ladym

Hello and Happy New Year!

We’re excited to announce the details of our feature-packed January release, which went live over the weekend.

New Feature Highlights:

  • We introduced the Cloud Application Dashboard last month – and it’s finally here! All of your App Integrations will be displayed on the dashboard, as well as your user profile. You’ll be able to change your avatar, enroll in Authy and forgotten password reset, view your domain and groups, and edit other settings. Admins will be able to create App Connections that are authenticated via SAML.

What apps would you like to see on your dashboardLet us know!

  • Last month, we also introduced Clearlogin Anywhere, a JavaScript embed code for any website that lets you use Clearlogin as your application’s authentication method. Admins will now have the option to always show a login form, even when users are not logged into the app where Clearlogin Anywhere is embedded.
  • Always Sync Password will sync a users’ password (should it be different from a previous password) upon successful login, keeping all changes made outside of Clearlogin in sync with your cloud apps.
  • Users can now enroll to reset forgotten passwords. First, users will enter a security question/answer and provide a verified phone number. Should they forget their password, Clearlogin will send a one-time-use, expirable token via text message, which they will enter along with the answer to their security question.
  • Admins now have the ability to pass the AD/OpenLDAP mail attribute as the email address when logging into Googleapps. This can be found in the Google Apps Settings in Clearlogin as “Use LDAP Mail Attribute”.
